Spot Chlorination - Notice to Residents
In response to an advisory notice issued by the Department of Health to all water service providers, as well as an approved Response Protocol between the Department and Busselton Water modelled on that notice, Busselton Water is required to implement spot chlorination whenever Naegleria is detected within the water supply.

Busselton Hospital was named this week as the first company to be recognised under Busselton Water’s “Waterwise Businesses in Action” programme. Over the last 12 months the Hospital has saved 12,000kl and $11,000 in water rates by undertaking a leak audit and resulting repairs.
