Busselton Water’s advanced radio frequency (RF) meters are a big help in identifying where water is being lost through leaks in the system. Current estimates suggest that we could save more than 17 million litres each year, in Busselton, through early water loss detection.

RF meters can detect if water is flowing continuously at a rate of more than two litres per hour. This is a very small amount and could be caused by something as minor as a leaky tap washer, toilet cistern, your hot water system or a tap left running overnight … or it may be the first indication that you have a hidden leak on your property.
