Waterwise Offers

Waterwise Offers

We’re facing another long, dry summer in the South West and we’re pleased to be providing four new waterwise offers which will help you be even more water efficient – saving water, and money!

Each offer is available to Busselton Water customers until 31 May 2025. Terms and conditions do apply so make sure you read and understand them as they do vary for each offer.

Showerhead Swap Program

The type of showerhead you use makes a massive difference. A WELS 4-star water-efficient showerhead uses around 6-7 litres of water per minute – significantly less that older showerheads which can use between 15 and 25 litres per minute.

You can now exchange up to two of your old showerheads for new water efficient WELS 4-star rated models, for free!

Simply bring your old showerhead/s along with a copy of your recent water bill to Busselton Water’s Administration office, located at 1 Fairbairn Road (corner of Cammilleri Street) in Busselton. Please note: the Busselton Water Administration office will be closed for the Christmas period from 4.30pm on Friday 20 December and will reopen at 8.30am on Monday 6 January 2025.

It’s important that you read and understand the Showerhead Swap Program Terms and Conditions before removing your showerhead/s.

Waterwise Toilet Rebate

Did you know? An average person goes to the toilet five times a day. If you have a dual flush toilet and choose the half flush each time you’ll save around 15 litres of water each day.

That’s why we’re offering a Waterwise Toilet Rebate to residential property owners who are scheme water customers of Busselton Water. A rebate of $400 is available on the purchase and install of a new dual flush WELS 4-star rated toilet to replace a single flush toilet.

It is important that you read and understand the Waterwise Toilet Rebate T&Cs before you engage a licensed plumber to complete the works and apply for the rebate.

Rainwater Tank Rebate

While rainwater tanks are great for hand watering your garden, plumbing your rainwater tank into your homes toilet and or laundry ensures the rainwater is used on a regular basis and captures more rainfall during the year.

That’s why we’re offering a rebate of up to $1,000 for Busselton Water customers with three rebate options available:

New rainwater tank and plumbing – up to a maximum of $1,000 for a new rainwater tank with a capacity of 2,000L or more that is plumbed.

Plumbing in an existing rainwater tank – up to a maximum of $500 for the plumbing work to plumb an existing rainwater tank with a capacity of 2,000L or more.

Replacing an existing plumbed in rainwater tank – up to a maximum of $500 to replace an existing plumbed in rainwater tank, with a new rainwater tank with a capacity of 2,000L or more.

It is important that you read and understand the Rainwater Tank Rebate T&Cs before applying for the rebate.

Weather-based Irrigation Controller Rebate

We know that a large portion of our household water use is in our gardens – from garden beds to vegetable patches and lawns. A weather-based irrigation controller is an easy way to save water as these advanced systems detect if it has rained or is about to rain and adjusts the sprinklers accordingly.

We’re offering a rebate of up to $300 for the purchase, set up and programming of eligible weather-based irrigation controller and module products.

The rebate is only available on eligible products and services purchased from waterwise irrigation design shops and waterwise garden irrigators.

It is important that you read and understand the Weather-based Irrigation Controller Rebate T&Cs before applying for the rebate.
