Community partnerships on offer

Applications for the 2025 Busselton Water Community Partnership Program are now open – with local community organisations, volunteer groups, schools and sporting clubs in the Busselton area who need a helping hand encouraged to apply for grants of up to $5,000!

The Community Partnership Program, now in its ninth year, provides funding for local projects, events and activities, particularly those focused on water use efficiency and quality, environmental sustainability, education, community connection, innovation and leadership.

Busselton Water CEO David Hughes-Owens says the program is a fantastic way for Busselton Water to give back and support the local community.

“There are some incredible groups and organisations doing great things at a grassroots level in our community and it’s great to be a part of that,” says David. “I strongly encourage all local organisations to have a look at the guidelines and consider applying for funding this year.”

Last year Busselton Water increased the total funding available through the annual program to $50,000 and were pleased to partner with 13 local groups and organisations in the areas of sport, disability services, community services and the environment.

If you’re involved with a community project, event or activity in the Busselton area that could do with a boost we’d love to hear from you.

Applications are now open and must be received no later than 5pm on Wednesday 14 May.

Guidelines and application forms will be available on the community partnerships page.
