2023

Disabled Surfers Association
Continued support for ‘Let’s Go Surfing” days which Busselton Water has supported for seven years consecutively.

Busselton District Junior Football
Support for the Starkick All Abilities Football Program that caters for children aged 5 to 17 to enable them to participate and most importantly – have fun!

Geographe Bay Yacht Club
Funding to support purchase of equipment used for the Learn to Sail Program.

Ray Village Aged Service
Installation of a waterwise sustainable garden to provide meaningful interaction and activities for residents living at Capecare Busselton.

Geo Bay Wildlife Rescue Inc.
Purchase of a thermal sensor monocular for use when searching for injured wildlife.

Geographe Catchment Council Inc.
Support for Bay OK gardens program encouraging the urban community to replace its lawn verges with native plant gardens, reducing water use and the costs of garden maintenance.

Support for the Busselton Community Garden Sustainable Water Efficiency Program including purchase of a 13500-litre water tank.

FAWNA Inc.
Purchase of a new box (cage) trailer to assist with emergency transport for wildlife, transporting equipment to bush fires and natural disasters, and other operational activities.

Cape Naturaliste College
Assistance in the establishment of a sustainable garden with the purchase of wicking beds, garden mix and a selection of seedlings.

Busselton Volleyball Association
Support for the clubs indoor and beach volleyball competitions through the purchase of new equipment including nets, ball trolleys and balls.

Pets of Older Persons (POOPS WA)
Purchase a POOPS Busselton branded Gazebo and other display materials to enable the organisation to have a better presence when attending events.

2019-20

Acting Up! Academy of Performing Arts
Provide assistance to students under financial hardship to have the opportunity to take part in acting classes through designated scholarships.

Busselton Senior High School
Support for the Waalitj Katitjin program an engagement and capacity building program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Busselton Naturalists Club
Enabling the revegetation of Ambergate Reserve through fencing of rehabilitated sites for growth and establishment.

Busselton Hockey Stadium Club Inc
Installation of a new drinking fountain to provide players and visitors with a fresh source of water.

Dunsborough and Busselton Wildlife Club Inc
Assistance in protecting and rehabilitating injured wildlife through support for 30 animal carriers with whiteboards and two catch nets.

Geographe Education Support Centre
Providing increased opportunity for accessibility through the provision of two new adult trikes – doubling the existing fleet.

West Busselton Primary School
Support for an upgrade of a 50 year-old drink fountain to a refrigerated bubbler fountain.

2018-19

Busselton Aero Club – Young Flyer’s Club
Support for the purchase of new safety equipment and learning resources for children enrolled in the newly-formed Club.

Busselton Bowling Club
Support for the Club’s Bowls for the Disabled and Bowls Junior Program through the purchase of lightweight bowls.

Busselton Croquet Club Inc.
The purchase and installation of new hot water system, providing instantaneous hot water for Croquet Club members.

Busselton Toy Library
Purchase of water-related toys for the library to teach children about this precious resource.

Busselton Volunteer Fire and Rescue
Support for the purchase of critical safety equipment including dash cameras.

Cornerstone Christian College
Assistance in the establishment of a sustainable garden with the purchase of a water tank, rain gauges and several other garden supplies.

Continued support for the ‘Let’s Go Surfing’ Days which Busselton Water has supported for three years consecutively.

Southern Capes Motorcycle Club Inc.
Installation of a standalone gravity feed water system for a disabled toilet to improve facilities for club members and visitors with disabilities.

Vasse Royals Football Club
Purchase of a new storage trailer for the club to store its equipment on a regular basis.

2017-18

Disabled Surfers Association South West
Busselton Water continues to support the ‘Let’s Go Surfing Days’ at Bunker Bay to assist people with disability to try their hand at surfing in a safe and dignified way.  Now in its eighth season in WA, the four free surfing days run monthly, from December to March, with more than 200 people at each event.

1st Cape Naturaliste Scout Group
Busselton Water supported the purchase and installation of a 25-litre under-sink plug-in electric hot water heater in the scout hall kitchen to help with washing dishes and the cleaning of equipment in a safer way.

Busselton Hospice Care
Busselton Water supported the purchase of a 22,500-litre water tank and water pump as part of the Geographe Bay Centre garden refurbishment. Visitors to the centre will be able to enjoy the tranquil space as they access bereavement and support services.

Busselton Jets Junior Rugby
With Busselton Water’s support, six first aid kits have been purchased for six different age-group teams, as well as an aluminium stretcher. The Club can now meet Australian Rugby Union (ARU) medical and safety requirements.

Busselton Surf Lifesaving Club
Busselton Water provided funding to purchase new first aid equipment (including resuscitators and ‘Annie’ CPR mannequins) to help train and equip club members and the local community with lifesaving skills. The equipment purchased has already helped a group of people in their training for their Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze Medallion.

Busselton Swimming Club
The Busselton Swimming Club funding will see the purchase of a poolside cage to store equipment for the club’s squads. Pool buoys, kickboards, snorkels and fins are just a few examples of what will be stored in this new cage.

Robins Women’s Hockey Club
Busselton Water is supporting Robins Women’s Hockey Club through the purchase of two junior goal keeping packs for their 2018 season. The kits include leg guards, leg kickers, junior helmets, foam chest guards and gloves to ensure these junior goal keepers are well protected.

2016-17

Disabled Surfers Association South West
Support was provided to the Let’s Go Surfing Days at Bunker Bay to assist people with a disability have a go at surfing in a safe and dignified way

Vasse Primary School
Busselton Water provided support to Vasse Primary School’s sustainable garden through the provision of a 1,500-litre rain water tank, soil wetting agents, drip system reticulation, rain gauge and watering cans

Acting Up! Drama School
Acting Up! Drama School were supported through the provision of four year-long scholarships.
