Support flows for local community groups
Posted: 2 July 2025
A record 16 groups and organisations have secured funding through Busselton Water’s 2025 Community Partnership Program to assist with the delivery of local projects and events over the next year.
The annual program, which is now in its ninth year, has already provided nearly $150,000 in funding to local groups and organisations, particularly those focused on water use efficiency and quality, environmental sustainability, education, community connection, innovation and leadership.
This year, a further $50,000 will be provided to support a range of initiatives which will benefit a broad cross section of ages, abilities, interests and diversity within the community.
Busselton Water CEO David-Hughes-Owen said he’s delighted they’re able to support a record number of initiatives this year.
“We received close to 30 applications from community groups in the local area, and the quality of projects and applications was really impressive. We’re looking forward to seeing these partnerships in action and providing benefit to a broad cross section of the community.”
